WHY IT'S IMPORTANT
TO THINK ABOUT
YOUR ANONYMITY
ANONYMITY ON SOCIAL MEDIA

Once a text is posted on a public platform, it becomes accessible to many people. Sharing, posting, and re-posting through social media can make it travel wide and far. Therefore we want to take a moment to consider anonymity.
When you submit your story to us, YOU DON'T HAVE TO GIVE US ANY PERSONAL DATA, such as your name or email address. However, it might be possible that the details of your experience will be familiar to someone you know and they might recognise you or other people in it. With that in mind, we advise you to think about whether you would personally prefer to leave out some of the detail, in case you would want to make your story more anonymous.

In order to protect your own and other people's privacy, Everyday Consent is unable to publish people's full names, school names, or company names, for instance.
